The workshop

Joinery manufacturers, with over 34 years in construction.

Bridge Joinery makes its windows, doors and frames in its own workshop. The timber comes in as boards and goes out as finished, primed and painted joinery, ready to fit.

We have over 34 years of experience in the construction industry, and we are based in Walpole St Andrew, near Wisbech. Because we make the joinery ourselves, each frame is made for the opening you actually have.

If you have a window that is past saving, a door that needs replacing, or a job around the house that needs a proper carpenter, give us a ring.

Sash windows

Restored where they can be saved. Made new where they can't.

Old sash windows are part of what makes a period house. We refurbish them, restore them and, when the timber has gone, replace them with new ones made to the same pattern, including on listed buildings.

Georgian windows in hardwood

When a large Georgian window has rotted beyond repair, we make a new one in hardwood, built to suit the property, then supply and fit it.

If your windows are past their best, ring us and talk it through.

Doors

Panelled doors and large entrance doors, made on the bench.

“Jamie is a true craftsman with an eye for detail and an artistic approach, creating bespoke joinery that is really sympathetic to any property. He took our large, rotting Georgian window and supplied and fitted a beautifully crafted hardwood replacement. His work from start to finish is impeccable and we cannot recommend his talents highly enough. Thank you Jamie!”

“Jamie and Emma, just wanted to say a very big thank you, for support us from getting us round in our home from having such damage done to our house from the expansion tank bursting in our Airing Cubard the boiling hot water doing quite some damage to our kitchen, but all of your hard work has given us amazing new kitchen, my husband Kevin, follows you through Facebook, and seeing all the Carpentry work you do is outstanding, from walk over bridges so the residents can have access to the front of their homes, to window frames, large entrance doors, the list goes on, we as a family are extremely grateful we would recommend you to anyone. Thank you again, Denise and Kevin Bell and family.”

Carpentry and maintenance

The jobs around the house that need a proper carpenter.

Alongside the workshop, we take on carpentry and building maintenance: kitchen refurbishments, window frames, and even walk over bridges so residents can reach the front of their homes.

When a burst expansion tank wrecked one family's kitchen, we put it back together for them. That is the kind of job we are glad to take on.
